A Spring Stroll through Disney World – Day 2, Hollywood Studios

Here we are at Hollywood Studios for the first of three visits we would make during the week.

We walked up Hollywood Boulevard to the Fast Pass kiosks to see if anything was available since we could now get extras. Unfortunately there wasn’t anything we wanted passes for so we went to The Great Movie Ride since it had no wait.  We got to sit in the front seat. It was pretty cool!

The Gangster coming to take over! It was kind of weird to be seated next to him LOL!

One of my favorite parts, the Wizard of Oz!

The rain started coming down again fast and furious.  We went over to Pixar Place to wait in line to meet Woody & Buzz Lightyear.  The line is always long so I have never had a chance to meet Woody.  It’s an indoor meet & greet so we got to stay drive for an hour!

It was still raining but we didn’t want to go back to the hotel yet.  Mike went on Tower of Terror and Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster while I went shopping on Sunset Boulevard.  I bought a new Alex & Ani bracelet with the castle charm and little stationery items for my mom & myself.

After this we called it quits since it was getting late! The next day we were going to Animal Kingdom!

  • I love Rock and Roller coaster, that picture of Mike is great, eyes closed but smiling. I haven’t been there in ages and only once so didn’t see hardly anything. Maybe I should go with you and your Mom next trip and let you be my guide.
That first picture really shows that you are probably going to get rained on.

More fun pics, but sad about all that rain!!! Glad you didn’t let it dampen your trip!

  • Oh I want the epcot Alex and Ani so badly! Love the buzz and Woody shot and you got a perfect photo of the Wizard of Oz area. I love that part too and rarely get an ok photo. I cant wait to try with my new camera.
