Hello!
I really hope to do my recaps up right for this latest trip to Walt Disney World. Between my camera, my husband’s camera, my cell phone and our Memory Maker pictures, we have over 2,600 pictures to wade through…yes, I know LOL! Most were taken by me as I used my cell phone a lot for the dark rides/shows and I took tons of the topiaries. I have no idea how to narrow down what I plan to scrapbook LOL! For the recaps, I think I am going to break it down in several parts by day park/night park (since we hopped several times) and restaurant reviews.
We decided to stay at Port Orleans Riverside for the first time. I would love to try each resort at least once but we are quickly running out of options in our price range/comfort level lol. POR as it is called is a new favorite and I can see us returning here in the future. We were close to the parks that we visited the most (Animal Kingdom being the furthest I think). We were in Magnolia Bend, Building 80 and it was equidistant to the food court and bus stop – perfect! It was a nice, easy walk to each along a main path. The landscapes were gorgeous. They offer carriage rides (for a separate fee) nightly but we didn’t have time to partake in one. We will definitely schedule some down time if we stay here again to enjoy more of the resort’s amenities.

These were taken in the resort store, so cute!!
I am aiming to post a recap once or twice a week. The next one will be our first day in Epcot.
Thanks for visiting today!

I think it’s one of the prettiest resorts we have stayed at. I wish we had more time to just enjoy where we were but as you know, the end of the week didn’t end so well!

We stayed at this resort when it was named Dixie Landings, and we really enjoyed it. Boatwrights is really good, too. Great photos!
