Hello!
I made this card today with a background I created last week. I really had a good time getting inky and coloring the cupcakes.
I used my mini Misti for the first time and was very pleased with it. I found it much easier to handle than the standard size Misti. It was so easy to line up the stamp on the die cut! I then colored the cupcakes with copics.
The background was stamped with the MFT BG Happy Birthday background stamp on Smooth White cardstock and heat embossed with SSS White pigment ink and Stampendous clear detail embossing powder. Then I put some Blu Raspberry ink on my craft mat and spritzed it with my Tim Holtz distress sprayer. I blended the ink on the background and then dried it with my heat gun. The strip of paper is from the Painted Petals 6×6 paper pad.
Here is the sketch~
Have a great night!

Kristie, this is soooooo pretty! I dearly love the patterned paper selection you used and those cupcakes look yummy. Cute and pretty card.
I don’t think I could live without my Misti! Love that thing. Makes stamping so much easier now. The more you use it the more you’ll love it.
