Christmas in July Day 5 – Happy Pawlidays

Happy Friday!

Today’s prompt is Stocking so I pulled out this cute pup from the Happy Pawlidays stamp set by MFT. I bought it last year I think and never used it.

I colored the pup with copics and used papers from Echo Park.

I am sharing my card with the Anything Goes challenge at Cute Card Thursday.

Have a great night!

Christmas in July Day 4 – Snowfall of Blessings

Hello and Happy 4th of July!

Today’s Christmas in July prompt is to use the following colors: Forest Green, Burgundy & Cream.

I really wanted to use this week’s MFT sketch and thought I would use ornaments but came across my Let it Snowflake trio dies first. They worked great for my green/red/cream color combo.

I used papers from Bo Bunny and Echo Park, along with a sentiment from Snowfall of Blessings, an older stamp set from MFT.

Thanks for visiting!

Christmas in July Day 3 – Santa & Friends

Hello!

Day 3’s prompt is Santa! I love to make Santa cards. I pulled this image from the Santa & Friends MFT stamp set. I bought it last year and never used it, along with the paper from Echo Park.

I colored the image with my copics which have been sorely neglected for the last 11 months. I added some Wink of Stella to Santa’s suit and the ground but it’s not showing up well.

The card layout is from Freshly Made Sketches. I made it into a standard A2 card. The background was embossed with a folder from Taylored Expressions. Then I added a few pearls to finish off the card.

MFT Up in the Air

Hello for the 3rd time today. I hope you all aren’t sick of me yet lol. I spent most of the weekend home and was off work today, so I have had way more craft time than usual.

Tonight’s card is for an MFT card swap and for the MFT sketch that ends tomorrow at noon.

I had these images colored from one of the #100dayproject days earlier this month. It was nice having images ready to go instead of debating on what stamps to use, what colors to use, you get the idea! All I had to do was cut them out and decide how best to lay them out on my card front. Keeping the images, paper and stamp set together is key for a successful project. I was able to select a sentiment to add to the card once I had it glued down.

Here is the sketch~
