Perennial Birthday

Hello!

Today I created this card for the toppings challenge at Seize the Birthday to Cover the Card.

I had a great time using lots of images in the Stampin Up Perennial Birthday set to make the background.

The colors I used to make this card are Gorgeous Grape, Flirty Flamingo, Grapefruit Grove, Old Olive and Sahara Sand. I finished the card off with a few rhinestones.

Thanks for stopping by!

Daffodil Delight Daisies

I’m back with a second card!

It has been a long time since I sat in my craft space and made more than one card in a night.

I picked another fun challenge to play along with – Fill in the Blank from As You See It challenge

My current favorite colors to wear are yellow and coral. Yellow is a huge trend for summer in my fashion challenge group!

I used Daffodil Delight and Calypso Coral inks from Stampin Up with the new Daisy Lane stamp set. I added the three little flowers from the Daisy Delight stamp set. The paper is from the retired Delightful Daisy dsp from last year.

I hope this card makes you smile!

Spotted Happy Tail

This week the challenge at Less is More is to create a One Layer Card with spots. One layer cards are always a challenge as I want to add more lol!

I looked through my current Stampin Up sets and came across Happy Tails which hadn’t been used yet.

The grass was added using a stamp from the Waterfront stamp set.

I’m going to mail this to a friend that has a dog 🙂

Highland Heather Floral Essence

Stampin Up’s new annual catalog launched earlier this week! Lots of great new stamp stamps including this beauty called Floral Essence.

I picked the color challenge at The Paper Players as a starting point.

To vary the Highland Heather color, I stamped off the smallest flower once and I watercolored the biggest flower.

The background was stamped in Daffodil Delight using a stamp from Artisan Textures and I added some embossing with the Lovely Leaves embossing folder.

The card was finished off with some of my favorite linen thread.

Thanks for visiting!
