Daisy Delight #1

TGIF!

I joined in a daisy card swap and this is the card I made. I used all Stampin’ Up! products along with the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

This was one of the first sets I bought from the new catalog last year and I finally just inked it up for this card. I decided to cut a bunch of card bases in the coordinating DSP colors, so I can make more cards before putting this set away. Look for more daisies coming soon! To give the card a cleaner look, I used the DSP sparingly and embossed a cardstock background. This Garden Trellis embossing folder is so pretty. This is another item being used for the first time. I have to stop hoarding all these pretty things!

Here is the sketch I used~

Have a great day!

Spiderman Inspired birthday card

Hello!

My nephew, Kaleb, turned 6 last Friday. This year’s theme was Spiderman! After cutting spider webs in different sizes for his friend birthday party a few weeks ago, I decided to go through my stash and figure out how to make a Spiderman card without buying anything. I am happy to say I succeeded!

I used a Tim Holtz embossing folder for the background, added a few spiders that had been cut with the webs, a number die cut and a sentiment. It came together pretty easy!

Birthday Owl

Last post for tonight! Expect more catching up tomorrow night ~

I joined in an Owl swap and then went crazy trying to find an owl in my stash. I know I have quite a few but I was looking for one particular set. This owl is from the I’m Owl Yours stamp set from MFT.

I used a sketch from the Fusion challenge and flipped it. Paper is from a fall Echo Park paper pad. I wasn’t planning on making a fall-ish/masculine card but the paper was handy 🙂

Here is the sketch ~

Have a great night!

50th Birthday Card

Hi and Happy July!

This is the last card I made in June. It’s also card 7 for Craft from My Stash Summer challenge. I missed my monthly goal by 3 cards but I’ll make up for it this month!

I found a great sketch at Inkspire Me to use for this masculine 50th birthday card.

Everything I used is from Stampin’ Up! I cut the 50 with gold foil from the Large Number framelits. The circle was stamped with a little pattern stamp from the Number of Years set. I just couldn’t leave the circle plain lol! White space drives me crazy.

Here is a close up of the card, so you can see the shine~

And the sketch I used~

I’ll be back shortly with another card!
