Hello! I am kicking off my 25 Days of Christmas with a Stampin’ Up! card. I got a lot of new sets from the Holiday Catalog and need to work on inking them up this month!
This card uses the Joyful Season stamp set and Season of Cheer dsp. The card layout comes from Create with Connie and Mary.
I used the berries stamped off once with Smoky Slate ink to mimic snow. The cardinal was watercolored with Cherry Cobbler ink with a touch of Tangelo Twist on his beak. The ground is Tip Top Taupe. I added some silver cord for interest. The sentiment was stamped with Mossy Meadow ink and I added the word Joyful inside.
Here is the sketch~
Thanks for looking!

Lovely card Kristie – love the bold colour of the cardinal against the soft colours of the background ans ‘snow’.

Great card Kristie – I love the hint of dsp behind your main layer and the position of the bird and sentiment looks just like he is saying the words out loud! Thanks for joining us over at Create With Connie and Mary this week!

This is really striking! The bright red bird contrasts beautifully with the background pieces – very pretty! Thanks for joining us at Create with Connie and Mary!

Very pretty holiday card. Love the cardinal. And I like how the greeting is sort of not finished so you feel like you have to open the card to get the full meaning. Thanks for playing the Create with Connie and Mary sketch challenge this week!

That’s one of the few sets I didn’t get…mainly because I got the cardinal one last year! Love how simple you have him standing on the group…and the fun cord details!
