25 Days of Christmas 2015 Day 9

I made a quick card tonight for Day 9.  I was going to do my “matchup” with it but had a different idea in mind, so the matchup #8 & #9 cards will come another day.

I pulled out my Winter Cheer Stamp TV kit and made this cute snowman card.

2015 Card 127 - Gina K Winter Cheer

I attempted a flat bow for easy mailing but that didn’t work out so well. I will either have to pay extra or hand deliver this one!

I hope to be more crafty tomorrow night!

Stamps: Gina K. Designs Winter Cheer Stamp TV kit set

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black, MFT Red Hot

CS: Winter Cheer Stamp TV kit

PP: Winter Cheer

Other: MFT Stitched Square Stax, copics, SU rhinestones, ribbon from kit

25 Days of Christmas 2015 Day 8

Good morning!

I was up late last night making this card. I attempted the faux laser cut technique…close but not quite successful.  I should have had the die cuts touching so they look connected.  It was not easy adhering them to an open circle and getting them to stay so I could glue them down!

2015 Card 126 - MFT Pierced Snowflakes

I used tons of MFT products on this one. Three stamp sets and three die sets!  The snowflakes were cut from PTI Sheer Shimmer cardstock, here’s a close up!

I’ll be back tonight with my matchup card!

25 Days of Christmas 2015 Day 7 and the Matchup #7

I had this card done earlier but had to wait for our Monday night shows to finish so I could blog!

This is another quick sentiment card and a bit of non-traditional color with the purple. This is old Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather paper matched up with a newer stamps set of mine, Holly Jolly from Essentials by Ellen at Ellen Hutson. I used MFT Blueprints #24 for the card layout with one of the sketches provided for it.

25 Days of Christmas Day 6 and The Matchup #6

Tonight we have a matchup between Close to My Heart and Carta Bella.  I chose an older stamp set called Holly Jolly Season and Merry & Bright paper. I used MFT Blueprints #1 to pull it together. If you don’t have any blueprints, I highly recommend them for card making! They make putting a card together a breeze when you’re short on time!

2015 Card 124 - CTMH Holly Jolly Season

The color is a bit off…I was too lazy to go downstairs to take it in my light box. Since the papers were brightly colored, I used MFT Ripe Raspberry ink for the sentiment.  I even stamped the inside to carry the sentiment through. So fun!

I wasn’t quite sure how to embellish the card, I almost left it plain but then decided to add some enamel dots from Teresa Collins Signature Essentials. I think they give off the right amount of “pop” against the papers.

That’s all for tonight!
