40th Birthday Card

Good morning!!

I have been meaning to post since the beginning of the month and keep getting sidetracked with other things.

(Graphic made using an old photo of my room and the Rhonna Designs app)

June kicked off my 3rd Annual Craft from My Stash, where I focus more on using my craft stash and less on purchasing new products. Two exceptions are a new catalog order from SU (already in the works before I decided to run my challenge again lol) and a trip to the LSS in August for my bday. My goal is to complete 10-15 projects per month (cards, layouts, etc.)

A few weeks ago, one of my dear friends celebrated her 40th birthday. I wasn’t sure what to do for her card and came across the sketch from As You Can See It, the day it was posted.

I used SU’s Number of Years stamp set and coordinating dies for the numbers and sentiment. The scalloped square was stamped with sprinkles from the Cool Treats stamp set. The patterned paper is from the coordinating Tasty Treats dsp.

Here is the sketch~

I’ll be back in a bit with another card!

Supplies ~ all Stampin’ Up!

Stamps: Number of Years, Cool Treats

Ink: Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach, Old Olive, Pool Party, Memento Tuxedo Black

CS: Watermelon Wonder, Peekaboo Peach, Whisper White

DSP: Tasty Treats

Other: Large Numbers framelits, Layering Square framelits, basic jewels rhinestones, dimensionals, triple banner punch

Great birthday card! I love all the sprinkles around the number – they’re like little explosions of happiness and they’re echoed in the paper you’ve chosen. Thanks so much for joining us at As You See It.
