I volunteered to make my husband some Christmas cards for his co-workers. I had one night to make 5 cards which turned into one night and a morning because I just couldn’t finish it all.
Here is a set of 3 cards using the same sketch – the very last Sweet Sunday Sketch 🙁 I’m so sad this site has closed. I have always loved Karen’s sketches!
I started by stamping the trees from Lawn Fawn’s Let It Snow stamp set using my MISTI with MFT Jellybean Green hybrid ink and then I used my MISTI again to stamp the sentiment over the trees with MFT Hot Fudge hybrid ink. I think this is the first time I’ve really felt the MISTI was useful for me. I’ll have to use it for more layered stamping in the future. I stamped 5 altogether and then cut them out using MFT Stitched Circle Stax.
This is the first card using the sketch as is ~
The second card I rotated the sketch ~
This last one was using the sketch flipped ~
Here is the sketch~
I’ll share the other two cards tomorrow!
