Today is my friend Danni’s birthday and she is celebrating with a blog hop!  HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DANNI!!!!!!!!

Here is my card, which is also Danni’s birthday card 🙂  I had a vision and ran with it.  My first attempt at an ombre card, so fun!!  I used Lawn Fawn’s Chevron Backdrops, Flutter By and Birthday Tags (sentiment), all for the first time.  I tried to include several Danni favorites including pink, butterflies and lots of sparkle!

 

2015 Card 91 - Lawn Fawn Flutter By

 

 

I started out with a piece of SU Whisper White cardstock and stamped the chevron stamp with Pink Pirouette, Blushing Bride, Strawberry Slush, Melon Mambo and Cherry Cobbler.  Then I mounted it to a Melon Mambo card base. The Flutter By butterflies were stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black on Copic Xpress It cardstock and colored with copics and cut out with the coordinating dies. I then popped them up on dimensionals and stickled the heck out of them lol.  The sentiment strip is Coastal Cabana with the sentiment from Birthday Tags and finished off with a few rhinestones.
