My husband’s great aunt recently turned 95 and we went to a party for her today.
I made this card for her this morning using this week’s MFT Wednesday Sketch Challenge with lots of different die-namics and stamps.
The card base is MFT Sweet Tooth, then I stamped the Happy Birthday background in Berrylicious onto SnoCone cardstock. The SnoCone cardstock was cut out with the Inside & Out Diagonal Stitched Rectangle Stax. I cut out the 95 using SU Brushed Gold cardstock using the MFT By the Numbers die-namics and mounted them on a Stitched Circle Stax cut from Authentique Wishes patterned paper. Underneath the circle, the next two layers were using the same paper. I hand cut the flags on each end and then cut the other layer with a frame from Tag Blueprints 3. The strip at the bottom is more Authentique paper with the Happy Birthday stamped from the By the Numbers stamp set and I added a few Bella Blvd enamel dots.
I pulled out stuff for a few Christmas cards but our teams are playing each other this weekend, so it was baseball last night and tonight. Go Red Sox!! I should have some time in my craft room tomorrow in between chores.
