Hi there!
Tonight I had some time to create before our shows started. Unfortunately it was a sympathy card that I had to create. I picked out my SU Simply Sketched stamp set yesterday and then didn’t know where to go from there tonight. I picked out two challenges – the color challenge at CAS Colours and Sketches and the sketch at Create with Connie & Mary.
Here is my card~
I used my waterbrush to color the bird with Soft Sky ink. One of these days I will remember to get some watercolor paper so the images come out better! I embossed the two banners because they looked so lonely lol…Woodgrain folder on the Lost Lagoon banner and Square Lattice (favorite retired folder!) on the Soft Sky banner.
Here is the color challenge~
and the sketch challenge~
Time for a little blog surfing before Scorpion starts! Is anyone else watching that show? We are enjoying it!

You’ve done a wonderful job using these colors to create a soft, soothing card. I like the actual texture given with the embossing folders combined with the visual texture of the designer paper. Thanks so much for joining in our challenge at CAS – Colours & Sketches! 🙂 I hope you’ll join us again soon.
