I am so excited to share this card tonight! I conquered my nemesis – heat embossing!!  I heat embossed many years ago and never liked it, did not find it easy and just quit trying.  I had my husband get me the Stampin’ Up! heat embossing gun for my birthday last August because it looked like it was a really nice one – much nicer than the one I had at any rate! It really could not have been easier with my new gun and I think I will make an effort to try it more often.

I was not sure what I wanted to do as far as a “theme” for my MFT sketch card until I saw the challenge at Merry Monday today…however, since this is not a Christmas card, I’ll have to make another one for that challenge.  I could NOT find my MFT Christmas sentiment set. It’s MIA in my mess of a room! I also couldn’t find my favorite birthday sentiment set…sigh…messy, messy me!  I finally settled on my LJD Blissful Butterflies set since one of the butterflies would fit in the stitched circle I already cut out.

I won one of the Teaser Time prizes earlier this month so I picked up several dies with my prize.  The rectangle frames, stripes cover up plate and 2 others. I think a lot of you know my love of MFT runs pretty deep lol…so excited to have been lucky enough to win the Teaser Time prize but also the sketch challenge last month.
