Good morning!
Today I’m sharing one of the layouts I made yesterday. It was inspired by a challenge on a Disney group to use certain photos and rope, canvas or burlap. I chose these photos from Camp Minnie Mickey and burlap.
I cut the title and the safari hat with my Cameo. I learned how to offset things so that I could make a shadow around my title and I even got a little fancy and rotated one of the letters to define it a bit better. I am loving how easy the Cameo has been for me. I know I haven’t even scratched the surface of what it can do but the basics are much easier on this than the Cricut. I used the Cricut tonight to cut things for another page and what a hassle it was!
The burlap ribbon is from Stampin’ Up. I’m happy I finally found a use for it! I’m not sure what I was thinking when I ordered it since it’s so wide and so much comes on the roll. I am really pleased with this page. No sketch and no patterned paper (the dotted paper is cardstock)…back to basics and it feels good.
Thanks for looking!

Super cute! I love the burlap ribbon. I’m sure it’s not easy to use, but it’s perfect for this.

What a fun page! The colors are perfect and definitely a great choice of using the burlap ribbon! Your title looks awesome! The way you welded the letters as well as your shadow layer look awesome! I’m so glad that you’re enjoying your Cameo! You definitely have a great start to creating much more with it! Thanks so much for sharing!

Great page and I like the burlap too. I have that same card stock, haven’t used it yet been hoarding it.
I am so envious of all you are doing with the cameo. I like the big thick font you used.
