Tonight I’m sharing a card I couldn’t wait to make.  When I saw the MFT sketch last week, I knew I wanted to ink up my LJD Pretty Poppies for the first time. I picked everything out over the weekend and finally had some time after dinner tonight to sit and stamp.

Card 7 - MFT Pretty Poppies

Inspiration strikes at the oddest times LOL.  Last night while I was brushing my teeth, I had the idea to add the faux stitching around the black mat. I went into my room and drew out the layers and added the colors/details so I wouldn’t forget. I tied the linen thread in a bow for the 4 Crafty Chicks bows challenge.

Since I didn’t feel like pulling out the heat embossing stuff, I decided to finish off the inside of the card with a sentiment and a stamped poppy.

I would also like to enter my card into these challenges:

Sister Act Card Challenge #139 – Anything Goes

Through the Purple Haze Challenge #24 – Anything Goes

Here is the sketch~

I already have the stuff picked out for my next card. Hoping to have some more play time tomorrow night.

Have a great night and thanks for stopping by!
