Good evening!
I’m sharing just one card from a set of 4 tonight. They are all a bit different (same bases, different images) but it’s late and I want to get at least one entered in the 4 Crafty Chicks Birthday challenge 🙂 I’ll share the rest tomorrow night.
This card features the new Simply Sketched Hostess set from the upcoming 2013-2014 Annual Catalog. I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it! I inked the stamp up with the Primrose Petals and Summer Starfruit markers and stamped the image on Whisper White cardstock. The image was cut out with the Oval Framelits and then mounted on a Baja Breeze oval. The sentiment was stamped in Midnight Muse and is also included in the Simply Sketched set.
I used the soon to be retiring Patio Party DSP and finished off the card with a neutral button (also retiring).
The layout is from The Friday Mashup, a few weeks ago they had this sketch and a challenge to make a card set. Loved the concept and saved it for when I had time to play.
TFL!

What a great sketch and such an easy card. This would be a great one for showing new stampers how to take it up one or two levels in difficulty or by adding accessories. TFS.

Very pretty…love the clean look of the image, but that it still has plenty of color. Really loving that sketch you’ve used for your backgrounds! 🙂 hugs, Kimberly
