Hi all.

Long time, no post. Life has changed a lot in the last 7 months. I lost my (step)dad at the end of September after a 4+ year battle with cancer and we had to put our precious Amber to sleep almost 2 weeks ago.

I barely crafted last year and am trying to get back to it. I need something to fill my free time. Hoping to find the joy it used to bring me.

I love challenges so I thought I would dive in with a fun recipe challenge at As You Can See It. It was a challenge in itself to find some plaid paper LOL. I looked through numerous DSP packs to find what I used!

I embossed the card base with the Softly Sophisticated embossing folder from the Softly Sophisticated bundle, still available until the end of February with Sale-a-Bration. The DSP is retired from a couple different paper packs and I used a die cut from Perennial Postage from the current mini catalog.

Stampin Blends and watercolor pencils were used to color the images and I used Tahitian Tide ink to blend the sky. I finished the card with some twine and enamel dots.

Thanks for stopping by!
