Here is part two of my Color Focus: Basic Grey! Scroll down for larger card views and descriptions.
Part one is HERE if you missed it.
Card one (Peach & Grey using Stampin Up Art Gallery) is actually the last one in this series but I want to feature it first as it’s for a challenge at Color Hues.

Next up we have a Christmas card featuring Christmas Scottie~
I really enjoyed making this slimline card so I could feature all of the dogs in the stamp set!

Third, we have this cute elephant card featuring Elephant Parade. The color combo is Basic Gray, Mango Melody and Balmy Blue from Stampin Up’s color coach. On this card I wanted to feature watercoloring so I stamped the image on the Fluid 100 watercolor paper using StazOn ink and the watercolor pencils with a water brush. I used a sketch from Try Stampin on Tuesday. I’m going to save this for my nephew’s 5th birthday next month.

Last but not least, this adorable Hippo card using a Sale A Bration stamp set and die set. Earn each one with a $50 purchase while supplies last or August 31, 2022. I saw this color combo somewhere and had to try it – Basic Grey, Blushing Bride and Daffodil Delight. This time I stamped the image in Basic Grey and colored with the watercoloring pencils but didn’t blend them.

Aw, I remember this little guy, how perfect for your gray color study! Perfect design – love that texture in the background, too, one of my faves! Thanks so much for playing at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday!

Kristie, what a fun card for your nephew! He’ll love that sweet elephant holding a birthday balloon!! I like how you used the Painted Textures embossing folder for the gray background panel… it looks just like elephant skin. Thank you for sharing your card with us at Try Stampin’ on Tuesday, and happy birthday to your nephew for his 5th birthday!!! -Donna
