My first card in two weeks!
I’ve been working in my room a lot organizing stamps and pulling stuff out for Fall/Halloween use next month. I was supposed to craft on my days off last week and got sidetracked by several things. Yesterday I ended up purging part of my scrap closet which resulted in piles all over the room and other parts of the house. I am hoping to get my room in order by the end of the week so I can craft a bit easier.
Tonight I made this card for my mom and stepdad’s 27th wedding anniversary. Since they live up the street, I got to make it a bit lumpy because I was hand delivering it 🙂 I used the current color challenge at Create with Connie & Mary. Calypso Coral is one of my favorite SU colors so I had to do this challenge!
I got to use new stamps and paper on this card! In my last order I got the Number of Years stamp set and dies, and A Little Foxy dsp. The colors of the challenge are in this paper pad and the heart paper was perfect to use on my card! I also got the new Layering Circle framelits, really love these! I can see me using them a lot.
I am really happy with how this card turned out, despite not giving myself much time to get it done lol!
Have a great night!

Very pretty Kristie – love the bow in the twine being over the change in the patterned paper – a very classy touch.
