Hello!
I’m actually blogging from the computer tonight since I finished my card before 11pm!
Today’s Matchup is also my daily Christmas card. I matched up C.C. Designs and Basic Grey. I had to go digging for a Christmas image since I had no rubber stamps. I was quite surprised! I looked through my boxes of printed digis and found Christmas Emma to color up. The paper is Aspen Frost from a few years ago. Since I have more time to type, I wanted to explain a little about my “matchup” challenge. I made a spreadsheet and listed all the stamp companies I could think of off the top of my head and then did the same thing for paper companies. I repeated each column until I had several months worth of matchups. (Fun fact: no matchup repeats!) Some companies I only have a few stamps/sets and paper pads so this really will be a challenge if I can keep up with it over the next several months. I also pulled out 12×12 paper for the paper companies and hope to use them on layouts at some point. I knew better than to give myself a goal of a card and page a day lol! I was going to wait until the new year to start this but I figured I should start while I was motivated 🙂
Here is my card~
I used my MFT Blueprints 6 for the first time on the card layout. Each piece was cut out with a die from the set. I also used one of the Blueprint sketches since I couldn’t decide how to lay things out. You can see all the sketches HERE.
Have a great night!
