Tonight’s card is for the One Layer Christmas Card Challenge with the optional twist of candles.
I stamped the candle on the cardstock and then stamped it again on masking paper. Once I applied the mask, I sponged Fossilized Amber distress ink around part of the image. This took me forever to get right lol…first I couldn’t find my ink blending refills so I tried a sponge dauber, that did NOT go well. After the 2nd attempt, I found a different sponge and that thankfully worked! I was debating adding Glossy Accents to it but didn’t want to wait for it to dry. Should I add it to give the card a little more dimension? Hmm….
I am quite pleased that it looks like the idea I have had in my head for several days. Now to go clean up my mess and hopefully start another card but since this one took so long, it’s not looking promising lol.
