Good morning!
Last night as I was thinking about Day 12’s card, I remembered that The Greeting Farm’s Farm Fresh Challenge was Red, White & Blue. How could I use that with a Christmas card? I went through my TGF stamps and pulled out Xmas Sweeties which had never been used. Then I decided to make a background with distress inks using a snowfall background. I pulled everything out and left it on my desk for this morning.
I stamped the MFT Snowfall background onto MFT Sweet Tooth cardstock with Sweet Tooth pigment ink. Then I added Stampin’ Up! white embossing powder and heat embossed it. I blended Tim Holtz distress inks with Tumbled Glass, Salty Ocean and Faded Jeans. I am usually not one to get messy with crafting but this was pretty fun 🙂 and it came out how I pictured in my head.
I then stamped the Santa image onto Copic Xpress it cardstock and colored him in with copics. Then I added white Fun Flock, remember that stuff? I still have it in a few colors. I stamped one of the sentiments from the stamp set in Sweet Tooth pigment ink and added powder to heat emboss it as well. I finished the card off with a few enamel dots.
Thanks for stopping by! We are off to a food truck festival shortly and the LSS since it’s down the road from it!
