Good morning!
It has been ages since I have entered in the monthly Papertrey Ink blog hop. I checked the blog a few days ago and saw this neat picture and started dreaming up a card to enter.

I was inspired by the stripes and the orange flowers. I really love those stripes and decided to make my own with watercolors.
I started with a piece of Tim Holtz Distress and watercolored it using my Dark Grey Zig Clean Color brush and Tim Holtz broad tip watercolor brush. It was cut out with one of the Basic Page planner dies. I cut two flowers with Orange Zest cardstock and vellum using the Beautiful Bloom II #1 dies and adhered them together and finished them off with a True Black vintage button. After I assembled my layers, I stamped a sentiment from Sentiment Splits in Orange Zest and then added a flower cut from Ripe Avocado cardstock using one of the dies from Rosie Posie.
I am looking forward to checking out the other entries tonight! Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Fantastic card. I like the way your sentiment is just a note, and you used a notebook die.
