Good morning!
Well better late than never, I’m sharing the two December calendar pages I made for my Mom and her friend. With these pages, the calendars are complete! I finally finished a project LOL! I never finished half of mine but I will continue with it next year for myself. I was so darn happy that I managed to keep my word to my Mom and get all of their pages done (and mostly) in a timely fashion.
I used Lawn Fawn’s Trim the Tree stamp set and coordinating die cuts on both pages. My washi tape got a work out holding all of those little pieces in place while cutting them out!
This one was for my Mom’s friend at work. I LOVE how the shading came out on the tree. I could not duplicate it though and I tried! I threw out several trees after this!
and here is my Mom’s 🙂 I had to add some Hidden Mickeys using small dot images in the stamp set~
The papers are from Hobby Lobby (and flimsy as heck, so they are mounted on thin cardstock) and I used my Gold and Clear Wink of Stella pens for the first time. I’m still learning how to control them but I LOVE how much shine they give off!
Have a great day! No work for me today…not sure what’s on the agenda yet though. Hopefully some crafting will be happening soon! I haven’t been in my room in weeks (except to bring in new packages lol!)

Great job on both! I thought ‘what a cute tree’ on the first. Then I scrolled down. Oh how I love your mom’s version with the Mickey icons. Adorable!!!

Wonderful calendars and perfect day to share them! I love the papers you chose and it’s so fun how you created the hidden Mickeys! I’m sure your Mom loved having them on the tree!!!

I know what you mean about duplicating something like the shading – so frustrating. Lovely pages Kristie.

I bought a calendar- never made it up- maybe next year : ) Loving your pages- and how fun to make doubles, but to change them up a tad too. Loving the hidden Mickey’s for your Mom as well.

Kristie, these are so special! You’re right, the first tree’s shading is really perfect. The little Mickey Mouses on your mom’s tree is adorable.
