Earlier today, I was looking through my list of challenges that are ending soon to find one to use tonight. I saw that the Paper Players has a challenge “Let’s go to the Beach”. I decided to combine that challenge with the One Layer card challenge in my yahoo group.
I used an oval framelit to cut an oval out of a scrap piece of cardstock. I then laid it over the Natural Ivory card base and sponged Pool Party ink to create the sea. I then stamped the coral from By the Tide in Calypso Coral while still holding the oval mask down. The seahorses were stamped with Crushed Curry and then I added the little circle stamp and sentiment with Baked Brown Sugar.
At first I wasn’t sure about this card but after looking at it several times tonight, it’s growing on me!
I did make another card that I’ll post in the morning! Have a great night!
