On Sunday night when I was updating my 2014 Crafty Goals page, I realized that I was one card away from #100 of the year! I am amazed that I was able to make my goal in just over half a year. I will still be making lots of cards but I hope to focus more on my layouts to try and make that goal of 100. I did get 1 page and 2 cards done last night so I’m off to a good start!
Here is Card #100 and it’s for Day 2 of Christmas in July, a Partridge in a Pear Tree (use a bird and a tree). I’d also like to enter it in the Christmas in July challenge at Crafty Boots. I bought this Papertrey Ink In the Meadow stamp set from a blogger last year and it was perfect for Day 2’s challenge!
I really enjoyed creating this scene. I started with a PTI Stampers Select White cardstock base. I embossed the bottom of the front with my SU Decorative Dots folder. I then stamped the sentiment with Memento Tuxedo Black and added the snowflakes with SU Soft Sky ink. I die cut the tree and birds from PTI cardstock as well and stamped the birds with SU Cherry Cobbler and the tree in SU Garden Green.
Have a great day!
