I have two Christmas cards to share tonight. I saw the Sweet Sunday Sketch yesterday (posted below) and decided it would be perfect for Christmas cards using a Hero Arts sentiment set I have, Miracle of the Holidays. It’s one of my newer sites and I inked it up for the first time. I was also inspired by Penny’s Paper Crafty Challenge to use something old (the paper – Basic Grey Wassail, that’s almost ancient in the papercrafting world!) and my something new is the stamp set.
Here is the first card ~
When I was stamping the sentiment, I realized my black inks weren’t looking too good so I used my SU Basic Gray ink spot. It’s time for me to visit a craft store and stock up on black ink! How could I not have any extras in my stash?!
Here is the second card ~ I’d like to enter this card into the Anything Goes challenge at Addicted to Stamps and More and the Anything Goes challenge at Challenges 4 Everybody.
Here is the sketch I used for both~
I think that catches me up on my goal of a Christmas card a week…although I did pull out stamps/paper for 2 more!
Thanks for visiting!
