Hello!
I couldn’t let the day go by without getting something crafty posted. We spent several hours undecorating the Christmas trees and then I went up to my room after dinner to make 3 panels for calendars. They are several years in the making. I bought calendars in 2012 and 2013 and lost them so as soon as I bought the 2014 calendars, I left them right on my desk! I’m creating them for myself, my Mom and her co-worker. Now that I’ve finally started, I can’t wait to get future months made.
I was inspired by SUO’s Colors of January challenge. I initially was going to go with a gold/silver theme for New Year’s but as I was putting away inks the other day, I decided to go with some softer colors that remind me of winter. I used the Endless Wishes photopolymer stamp set (for the first time!) with Wisteria Wonder, Pool Party & Smoky Slate inks stamped on Whisper White cardstock. To add a little sparkle, I used Dazzling Details on each snowflake.
You can see the other panels laying in front of the calendar. They were still drying when I put the first one together.
Here is a close up~
Tomorrow I’m hoping to craft a little earlier once we finish putting the Christmas stuff away!
Hope you are all having a good weekend!
