TGIF!
This week’s challenge at Scrap Your Story is to use CORK on your layout! Click HERE to enter your page and check out the DT pages!
I have had some cork sitting in my craft drawer for years now, so glad to have the push to use it! Originally I wanted to die cut some flowers but then I decided to scrap these old pictures from a trip up north to visit Mike’s cousins. I used a border die to cut the cork in my Cuttlebug. It’s really thin and I ended up breaking one border. Had I realized it was so thin I probably could have used it in my Cricut. Maybe I will have to try that with some of the other sheets that I have left.
I didn’t add any journaling yet since I need to look up the dates that we were visiting. I still have plenty more to scrap from this trip too…although I realized when looking at these vibrant pictures that some were rather dull in color. I think I can take a pass on scrapping those.
TFL!

Love autumn layouts! I would never thought to run the cork through the cricut or diecuts. Cool!

I love this layout with the amazing photos. They work so well with the cork. I tried to punch my cork but it kept breaking. I think I need to put something behind it… will have to play. I love that you incorporated so many photos too..
