LOAD 22-24

Three days of LOAD rolled into one blog post!

Here is Day 22.  A red/white/blue color challenge…forget which country’s flag now.  I used pictures from the UK pavilion in Epcot. We had a quick little photo shoot with the phone booths. I bought this Pink Paislee Switchboard paper and die cuts two years ago specifically for these pictures. Glad I finally got the page done!

Day 23~ I have no idea why I picked these pictures for Day 23, but it was a fun layout for me to put together using Basic Grey Adrift collection.

Day 24~  The prompt was Culture – Sports. Naturally I chose baseball LOL.  These pictures are from last summer. Mike took me to a game for my birthday and we had excellent seats by the on deck circle for my team. I am so glad I took so many pictures of David Ortiz!  This upcoming season will be his last.  Hoping to make it to one game to bid him farewell. I am getting great use of the Doodlebug Home Run collection!

Masculine Christmas Cards, Part 2

Good morning and Happy New Year’s Eve!! One of my favorite nights of the year. Junk food, games and Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin Eve on TV!

Here are the other two cards I made for my husband’s co-workers. These were created using Sketch #250 at Try Stampin or Not on Tuesday.

Here is the first one using the sketch as is – I realized after I started that my focal point was a little large. I didn’t want to start over so I just went with it.  I did change the paper for these two and used Yuletide by Pink Paislee.

Yuletide Christmas Ornament

Good morning!

Here is another Christmas card I made over the weekend. This one was for my mother-in-law. I used Sketch #195 at Retro sketches.

2015 Card 134 - LLD Trim the Tree and Christmas Ornaments

I cut the Christmas Ornament die-namic from MFT Brushed Gold cardstock and added some ribbon from my stash. The sentiment is from MFT LJD Trim the Tree stamp set. I added some MFT Hot Fudge ribbon behind the main panel to separate the two background papers. The papers are from Pink Paislee’s Yuletide paper pad. The prints in this one are so pretty and I love the traditional colors.
