Celebrating Summer #4

I’m back!

This is one of the cards I made yesterday. It is for the Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

2015 Card 85 - MFT LJD Sea Life

I started out by watercoloring a piece of Canson Mix Media 98 lb paper using MFT Berrylicious ink on an acrylic block.  While it was drying, I cut out a few dies from the MFT LJD Sea Life set and then stamped them with the coordinating images. Once my paper was dry, I stamped an image from the Sea Life set on there using MFT Limelight hybrid ink.  The patterned papers are from Echo Park Splash and I cut the waves in the background from Berrylicious cardstock using TE Build a Scene Rolling Waves dies.

Here is the sketch~

Have a great night!

Stamps: MFT LJD Sea Life

Ink: Ranger Archival Jet Black, MFT Berrylicious dye, MFT Limelight hybrid

CS: MFT Limelight, Berrylicious, Smooth White, Canson Mix Media 98 lb.

PP: Echo Park Splash

Other: MFT LJD Sea Life dies, TE Build a Scene rolling waves dies, Tim Holtz detailer water brush, acrylic block

Celebrating Summer #3

So I have been a super lame blogger with my “Celebrating Summer” month…I want to share a card I made at the last crop before I start posting what I made yesterday.

This little mouse was colored with Derwent Inktense pencils and I used a sketch from Retrosketches posted that same day.  The paper is ancient Echo Park Splash.  A very easy card to create!

2015 Card 82 - SNSS Beach Bum Cocoa

I will be back with another card or two later!

Stamps: Sweet N Sassy Stamps Beach Bum Cocoa

Ink: Ranger Archival Jet Black

CS: Tim Holtz distress watercolor cardstock, MFT

PP: Echo Park Splash

Other: Derwent Inktense pencils, Tim Holtz detail water brush, The Twinery twine, MFT Stitched Oval Stax

Celebrating Summer #2

I have lots to blog but little time lately! I am just barely getting this card in on time for Sketch 372 at Sketch Saturday.

This cutie pie mouse is Cocoa Mouse from Sweet N Sassy Stamps. He has been hanging out in my stash for years uninked.

Cocoa was colored with Derwent Inktense pencils on Tim Holtz distress watercolor paper. I cut him out with my MFT Stitched Circle Stax. The wave was cut with a wave border from Taylored Expressions. Paper is Splash by Echo Park from many summers ago.

Here is the sketch~

That’s all for now. Have a great day!

Celebrating Summer #1

I am kicking off my month of summer themed creations with this layout of my nephew.  This was the last layout I created at my crop yesterday. It’s for a Sunglasses challenge in my scrapbook group.

I am blogging from my phone so it’s not a fancy, edited picture but it is faster and easier for me at the moment.

I started with an old sketch from Let’s Capture Our Memories and the All About a Boy Echo Park collection. I purchased some summer themed wood veneers at the scrapbook store yesterday and inked them with black archival ink. Once they were dry I added glossy accents and then black vellum with glossy accents to back them. Buttons are from MFT in Orange Fizz, Lemon Drop, Jellybean Green and Sno Cone.

That’s all for today. Have a great night!
