SU Sneak Peek – Varied Vases and Love What You Do

Hello!

Finally back to crafting again. I moved a bunch of craft supplies to our dining room to be closer to my little family for a bit.

Earlier this month I was able to attend Stampin’ Up!’s OnStage Local that was held in our state’s capital. It was SO much fun. I rejoined a bit ago and this time around I am doing it for myself, not a business as I didn’t enjoy it when I tried several years ago. Crafting is my hobby, not a job for me.

Here is a photo of me at the event~

As a perk of attending the event, we were able to order select products from the upcoming annual catalog. I received my order last week and finally opened it yesterday.

I whipped up this clean and simple card using two new stamp sets and a new set of designer series paper.

One of the most exciting things about attending OnStage was hearing about the color revamp. I was hoping for one since I love new colors and having old ones return. I have always kept all my retiring stuff so I have almost all of the returning colors. I used Blackberry Bliss for the sentiment and Mossy Meadow as the background for the floral panel.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Easter 2018!

Hello and Happy Easter!

I am sharing the cards I made for my nephews and niece. I used a new stamp set from Newton’s Nook with the coordinating dies. The card layouts were made using pieces cut from MFT Blueprints and Doodlebug Design Easter Express paper.

I really love this Newton’s Easter Basket set. It was so fun to work with!

Have a great night!

Daisy Delight #1

TGIF!

I joined in a daisy card swap and this is the card I made. I used all Stampin’ Up! products along with the current sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

This was one of the first sets I bought from the new catalog last year and I finally just inked it up for this card. I decided to cut a bunch of card bases in the coordinating DSP colors, so I can make more cards before putting this set away. Look for more daisies coming soon! To give the card a cleaner look, I used the DSP sparingly and embossed a cardstock background. This Garden Trellis embossing folder is so pretty. This is another item being used for the first time. I have to stop hoarding all these pretty things!

Here is the sketch I used~

Have a great day!

Garden Bunny

One of my card groups recently resurrected the brand swap, one of my favorites to participate in!

This month’s brand is Penny Black and I chose this adorable bunny from the Garden Critters set to work with.

I colored the bunny with my Stampin Blends since I haven’t used them much. I prefer my copics but these work when I don’t need a huge color palette.

The layout of the card is from The Paper Player’s current sketch challenge. I am also entering my card into the Feature a Creature challenge at the Penny Black and More challenge.

Here is the sketch~

And now I am caught up with my card postings!
