Christmas in July Day 4 – Snowfall of Blessings

Hello and Happy 4th of July!

Today’s Christmas in July prompt is to use the following colors: Forest Green, Burgundy & Cream.

I really wanted to use this week’s MFT sketch and thought I would use ornaments but came across my Let it Snowflake trio dies first. They worked great for my green/red/cream color combo.

I used papers from Bo Bunny and Echo Park, along with a sentiment from Snowfall of Blessings, an older stamp set from MFT.

Thanks for visiting!

Happy Independence Day!

Happy 4th of July!

I created two patriotic cards to share today. I’ve had these Taylored Expressions stamps in my stash for awhile now. I finally dusted them off yesterday and inked them up for the first time using Tim Holtz distress markers.

I hope everyone celebrating today has a safe and fun day!

Happy National Scrapbook Day!!!

A holiday near and dear to my heart for so many reasons. I began scrapbooking 13 years ago this month and while I don’t do it as often, it’s something I hope to always keep a part of me. I need to learn to make more time to do it!

This is my first page since last summer, for a challenge at A Cherry on Top. They have an NSD celebration going on with lots of interesting challenges.

All the items included were part of a recipe I had to follow. It made for an interesting page. I do like how it turned out although I felt quite rusty making it!

Have a great night!

Daisybella

Good morning!

I am sharing a card I made for An Old Friend swap. We were to use an older stamp.  After much debate on what to use, I settled on Daisybella from Stamping Bella. It has been awhile since I used one of my beloved Bellas!

The paper is from Bo Bunny’s Mango collection (a HUGE thank you to my friend Suzanne for identifying it for me!!). It was some paper purchased from a stamp company many years ago and wasn’t labeled, Suzanne remembered she made layouts with this collection and looked them up.  Several layers were cut from MFT Blueprints 13 and the image layer was cut with MFT Wonky Stitched Rectangle Stax.  I colored the bella with copics and added a few enamel dots to finish off the card.

Have a great day!
