My first page of the year and it’s a Christmas one!
Since today’s paper matchup was American Crafts, I decided to use some 12×12 paper in my stash to create a layout. This is some old paper – the “collection” was The Goods – Stocking. I think this is from back in the day before matching embellishments existed. I had 4 sheets and I think I cut into every one of them lol. I’m hoping to use the big scraps for another page and any leftovers on cards.
This is my sister & nephew on Christmas Eve a few years ago.
I didn’t have any sketches picked out so I decided to check out an online class I signed up for months ago – Tried & True: Scrapbook Layouts. Not sure I nailed the whole white space thing for the lesson but I tried!
Supplies~
PP: American Crafts The Goods – Stocking (ancient stash!)
Other: washi tape from my stash, Thickers, Pretty Pink Posh sequins

Oh Kristi, this is so sweet! What a gorgeous holiday photo and the paper is the perfect match 🙂 It won’t be long before you are scrapping the beautiful new baby, too! She will want pages all her own 🙂 Happy New Year to you and looking forward to another fun crafty year ahead!

Lovely layout Kristie – the eye goes straight to the photo. Love it when the photo is allowed to take centre stage. Love the wee embellishment in the top left corner
Blessings
