I’m back with my card for Day #6, it’s been a busy work week so far and I haven’t felt much like crafting or blogging. I finally got two cards done last night but now I’m behind for Day 8…and likely more until the weekend. We’ll see!

 

Monday morning I checked challenges as I was getting ready for work and saw the Mojo Monday sketch.

Then I decided to pull out my The Alley Way Stamps Jolly Holiday stamp set since I didn’t get to use it last year. I wasn’t sure if I’d use the Santa, snowman or penguin as the focal point but then I saw the Merry Monday challenge for Penguins! The penguin in this stamp set is very cute!

I checked to see if TAWS had a challenge and there is a monthly link up with Anything Goes as a theme, just need to create a TAWS project! This is my first creation using TAWS stamps 🙂

2015 Card 61 - TAWS Jolly Holiday

 

I used my Bo Bunny Candy Cane Lane paper pad along with MFT and SU cardstock. I didn’t realize my penguin would look so small so I added a wood veneer tree to fill it in a bit more. I think it works.  I added Clear & Gold Wink of Stella to the ornament in Joy but it didn’t show up in the photo…it sparkles nicely in person!
