Hello and Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms out there!

 

I had a great weekend with my Mom, she had the weekend off for the first time in months. Yesterday we spent the day shopping and today we went to breakfast, saw my sister & her family and then one of my stepsisters and her family. We had beautiful weather to enjoy a BBQ, didn’t think that would ever happen after our looooooong winter LOL!

 

This is the card I made my Mom and it’s for the Viva La Verve Week #2 sketch (sketch shown below with supply list).  I was inspired by one of the DT members cards to ink up Button Best for the first time 🙂

I used some older MME Tangerine papers that were in a card kit that’s been collecting dust for years lol.  The flowers were stamped, colored with copics and then fussy cut.  The leaves are also from Verve, Sprightly Sprigs die set.

 

Next up I have my mother-in-law’s card and I used the FTL11 – Take Two sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping. I used Winnie & Walter’s The Big, The Bold and The Happy to build the sentiment.  The papers and embellishments are all from an old card kit.
