Last year I did a few Project Life pages and then lost interest…doing weekly pages just didn’t work for me so I put my kit aside. Lots of people in one of my Yahoo groups have been doing them, either for a year or just starting out and I was intrigued again. My friend Barbara has been including summary cards of her weeks/month and it inspired me to do “highlight” pages for each month this year. I don’t need to record every detail but I do want to save some pictures that wouldn’t necessarily be scrapped otherwise and I really want to keep lists of my scrappy & reading accomplishments in my album this year.
Here is my 2014 cover page ~ Most of my pages are using the Midnight kit but there could be a card or two from the Seafoam kit…I wasn’t very careful when I was putting these together to write things down! I cut the Hello 2014 from THIS Silhouette file. Throughout all of the pages, I used Thickers and wood veneers from Studio Calico. Also to note this page is using the Design A page protector.
This is my January spread ~ The source for the Disney hotel picture is www.disneyworld.com. I couldn’t find any on the PhotoPass cds I have.
Here is a a close up of the left side ~ I cut the January out of Authentique Glistening paper using THIS Silhouette file and the “this photo” from THIS freebie file from Kerri Bradford Studio.
and a closeup of the January calendar. The paper I used is so pretty but it’s hard to capture through the pocket!
Here is a close up of the right side ~ I used the stamped panel from my January calendar in one of the pockets. I think I will do this with each month’s panel. I’m happy to find another use for them! The card with the scissors on it is from the Dear Lizzy Polka Dot Party kit. I also want to note this is the Design G page protector. I think I like this size the best so far and need to find more.
Thanks for looking!

Great pages. I really like your cover page. So cool you both wore the 2014 glasses. I like fun stuff like that. It’s fun seeing your pages saying how many books read/goals and same for scrappy stuff. Can’t wait to see more pages. 🙂

Your nephew is getting so big! I’m not a PL fan, but this is very cool! (I may have some SVG’s that will fit PL pockets)

WOW!!! This is amazing! Great project, beautifully done!

Cute pages! I think a monthly recap would be easier to keep up than a daily one like I’ve seen others do. I look forward to seeing more of these. 😉
