Forever in Our Hearts

Forever in Our Hearts from Verve Stamps is one of my most used stamp sets. I am glad to have such a beautiful stamp set to express my sympathies for someone’s loss.

Late last month someone very dear to me lost one of his siblings. I created this card for him using March’s Viva La Verve sketch. I dipped into my Basic Grey stash for the paper. I still miss BG so much!

Here is the sketch ~

The linky tool closes April 5th, so you still have time to join in!

Supply list coming soon!

The rest of June’s cards

Good morning!

It’s the last day of the month and the year is half over. How did that happen so quickly?!

I made a ton of cards this month and didn’t get the chance to blog them all so I’m sharing them in one post to finish June.

This one was for my husband’s birthday a few weeks ago.  I used Sketch #273 at Sweet Sunday Sketch.  The adorable bunny is from The Cat’s Pajamas.  The baseball themed card went with his baseball themed gift of a Yankees t-shirt AND game tickets for us to see the Yankees play my team, The Boston Red Sox, at Yankee Stadium in early August.

The next two cards are sympathy cards that I had to send out early in the month.

This first one used Sketch #272 at Sweet Sunday Sketch and my go-to set, Forever in Our Hearts, from Verve Stamps.  I also used some ancient Basic Grey papers.

This last card used Sketch #364 from Techno Stamper.  I inked up Stampin’ Up!’s Lovely as a Tree for the first time. I feel like it was a rite of passage to finally use this long time favorite of many SU stampers.

I’ve gotta go get ready for my last day of work before my mini break! Hopefully lots of crafting will be happening over the next 5 days.
