Garden Bunny

One of my card groups recently resurrected the brand swap, one of my favorites to participate in!

This month’s brand is Penny Black and I chose this adorable bunny from the Garden Critters set to work with.

I colored the bunny with my Stampin Blends since I haven’t used them much. I prefer my copics but these work when I don’t need a huge color palette.

The layout of the card is from The Paper Player’s current sketch challenge. I am also entering my card into the Feature a Creature challenge at the Penny Black and More challenge.

Here is the sketch~

And now I am caught up with my card postings!

Another Hedgehog Valentine

Hello and Happy Valentine’s Day!

Tonight I am sharing the Valentine card I made for my husband. When I was making the others, I came across these cute hedgehogs and this fun peekaboo die. I decided to combine them together and it looks just like I imagined it would.

The die is from MFT and is supposed to go vertically with the interactive flaps, but I ended up cutting them off as I wanted to make a horizontal card. I stamped the hedgehogs and colored them with copics. The sentiment and small hearts are from Papertrey Ink. I used glossy accents on all if the hearts. Just to add a little something 🙂

I am entering this card into the current Anything Goes challenge at Penny Black Saturday.

Thanks for visiting!

Pup Valentine Card

Good morning!

Today I am sharing the Valentine I made for my nephew and godson, Kaleb. His family recently adopted a dog so I thought I would use this cute pup from Penny Black on his card.

I stamped the image and then colored it with copics. I cut it out using stitched oval dies from MFT. The sentiment is from Hero Arts along with more paper from Doodlebug Design.

The layout is from the current sketch at Sunday Stamps.

I am also using this card as my third entry in the following challenges:

Love, Hearts and Flowers at Penny Black & More at Allsorts

Love You So Much at Cards in Envy

Little Girl Full of Love

Hello!

Today I am sharing the Valentine I created for my two year old niece, Madelyn. I really hope she likes this little girl with her glittery hearts!

She is from Penny Black and I colored her with copics. I added my favorite Stardust stickles to the hearts, still wet in the photo lol.

I used the current sketch at Sketch Saturday, changing the main rectangle to a square to suit my image better.

I am also entering my card into these challenges:

Love You So Much at Cards in Envy

Love, Hearts and Flowers at Penny Black at Allsorts

Thanks for stopping by!
