Christmas in July 2017 #4
I was able to get two Christmas cards made this afternoon! I’ll share one now and have one scheduled to post tomorrow. I am having a ton of fun creating this month!
This is from one of my Matchup lists – Lawn Fawn stamps + Pebbles paper and a twist of watercolor pencils. I used my Lyra Aquarell pencils to color the images on Canson Mix Media paper.
I continued the sentiment on the inside with “cheery & bright”.
I am entering this card into the Christmas in July challenge at Stamp Ink Paper.
Have a great night!

Happy 4th of July!
I made two cards on Friday to share today using Taylored Expressions stamps.
Here is the first one using Light Up the Night. Do you see Mickey? I didn’t even notice at first but there is a Mickey head out of the 3 big fireworks! I colored the fireworks using several Stampin’ Up! markers – Raspberry Ripple, Midnight Muse, Island Indigo and Lost Lagoon.
The plaid paper was cut using an MFT Cover Up die – the Stitched Cover Up companion – Vertical. I added a few star brads from my stash to complete the card.
Here is the second card using the 4th of July Wreath. I stamped it on a tag cut from Build a Tag #1 and colored it with copics. I added twine and a star brad from my stash to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by!

LOAD 26-28
Good morning!
I am sharing Days 26-28 in this post, so close to the finish line!!
Day 26~ I used Sketch Savvy #158 for this layout and Bo Bunny’s Mamarazzi2 collection.
Day 27~ page design is my own. I’m really happy with how many layouts I did without sketches this month! I dug out some Basic Grey from a few years ago, Spice Market. I thought it went well with this ride in Adventureland.
Day 28 ~ Another page design of my own…this one was hard to photograph with the glittery title! It says Hallowishes Dessert Party. The pictures are not that great because the weather was funky. Horrible fog/cloud cover over the fireworks. I still wanted to document the party though since it was something extra we paid for. I used Pebbles Boo! collection and then added the glittery title and rhinestones from my stash.
I will be back later for Day 29! I have a plan so hopefully the page will go together easy tonight.
