Autumn Wishes

Tonight I made a fall card using a cute little set from Stampin Up called A Flower for All Seasons. I love this little pot of sunflowers! I used the new sketch at The Challenge for my card layout.

2016 Card 88 - SU A Flower for All Seasons

Since the image is small, I added some interest with MFT’s Cross Stitched Circle Stax, some dry embossing and twine. The sentiment is from an old Pink by Design set called Bountiful Blessings.

Here is the sketch~

Chance of Rain

It has been raining on and off all day here, so this card is definitely appropriate to share today!

I made it for a Rainy Day swap and I used the new sketch at Sunday Stamps.

2016 Card 54 - Mama Elephant Chance of Rain

I used these fun papers from Jillibean Soup to make my card.  I paper pieced the the rain jacket and the umbrella, love doing this!  I drew in a sidewalk to add to the scene (a bit wonky, but hey I tried lol!)  I added a few Marshmallow sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to embellish the card.

LOAD11 – Pawsitively Adorable

I’m still doing LOAD, but haven’t been able to post each day since I have been finishing very late.

I skipped the prompt of the day and scrapped more pictures of my sweet Amber 🙂  I used Sketch 470 from Scrapbook Challenges. In my scrapbook group, one of the challenges is to mix old and new products so I used several pet lines on this – Basic Grey Max & Whiskers (old), Bella Blvd Tail Waggers & Cat Nappers (old), Jillibean Soup Fur Fusion (new), Bella Blvd Rover (new), Echo Park Bark (new).

I get so wrapped up in collections that I rarely mix product anymore. This was a fun challenge to take part in and reminded me to re-visit my stash more often.
