Happy National Scrapbook Day!!

Today is every scrapbooker’s favorite holiday – National Scrapbook Day!


It has been several years since I could spend all of NSD scrapbooking, but I always try to get at least one page done. Today’s page is for several scrapbook groups I am in, had to make one page count for a lot LOL!

I used old Basic Grey Shine On papers and embellishments, it was a line exclusive to Joann several years ago.  The layout was created using an old Sketch Thursday sketch. I really miss that site! So many great scrappy sites have come and gone over my 12 years of scrapbooking.

LOAD 22-24

Three days of LOAD rolled into one blog post!


Here is Day 22.  A red/white/blue color challenge…forget which country’s flag now.  I used pictures from the UK pavilion in Epcot. We had a quick little photo shoot with the phone booths. I bought this Pink Paislee Switchboard paper and die cuts two years ago specifically for these pictures. Glad I finally got the page done!

Day 23~ I have no idea why I picked these pictures for Day 23, but it was a fun layout for me to put together using Basic Grey Adrift collection.

2016 Page 28 - Disney River Country


Day 24~  The prompt was Culture – Sports. Naturally I chose baseball LOL.  These pictures are from last summer. Mike took me to a game for my birthday and we had excellent seats by the on deck circle for my team. I am so glad I took so many pictures of David Ortiz!  This upcoming season will be his last.  Hoping to make it to one game to bid him farewell. I am getting great use of the Doodlebug Home Run collection!

Tomorrowland Rides {more Disney layouts}

Good morning!!! The last day of August…wow, it really flew by!!


I hope to have more to share later today but for this post, I’m sharing the last of the layouts I made last week!  I started to use sketches and then went off track with both LOL. I don’t usually do that but I was using background paper that I didn’t want to cover up.

2014 Page 39 - Space Mountain 2012

I used more of the October Afternoon Rocket Age and added some brads from my stash. I tell ya, this paper was a PAIN in the neck lol. It took quite a bit to punch out all the pre-scored numbers.

2014 Page 43 - Space Ranger Spin 2012

I love this fun paper that I found at my scrapbook store several months ago. I trimmed it down so that I could mount in on green to draw more attention to Buzz in the corner.  The little banners were cut from the leftover paper. A piece of chipboard from October Afternoon’s Rocket Age and more buttons/brads from my stash were added.

Merry Christmas Chip n Dale! {a Disney layout}

Hello everyone!


I’ve been printing out sketches and trying to match them up with pictures already printed. I’ve had these photos of Chip n Dale printed since early this year. So happy to have them scrapped!


Loved the 2 page sketch shared at Nuts About Sketches on Monday and knew it would be perfect for my pictures.

2014 Page 37-38 Chip N Dale Merry Christmas


I went digging through my drawers and pulled out Echo Park’s Everybody Loves Christmas collection.  I added some Basic Gray enamel dots and some Queen & Company washi tape.
