Disney Wordless Wednesday: July

It’s the first Wednesday of the month which means it’s time to show off our July calendar pictures!

I was going to pick a fireworks picture but I couldn’t find a decent one from our last trip…so I decided to go in a different direction.  I wanted to pick a picture from Liberty Square and settled on this one of the Liberty Square Riverboat. This was taken on our first trip in September 2011.

You can check out the rest of the entries HERE!

Have a great day!

Disney Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop – The Letter W

It’s that time again! You can check out all the blog hop entries HERE!

Naturally the first thing that popped in my head for the Letter W was Winnie the Pooh. I adore meeting Disney characters! Here’s a little collage I put together of him~

2014-05 (May)

I can’t wait to see what else people came up with. I’m sure there is loads that I am not thinking of or don’t have pictures of (like the Wilderness Lodge).

World Showcase 2011 {a Disney layout}

I’ve been super busy with laundry and creating today!  Here is the first layout I did, it was supposed to be for my yahoo group’s 24 hour challenge but I didn’t get it posted in time.  I had an old Lilybee sketch to work with and the Basic Grey Spice Market collection.

I picked a photo from our first Disney trip in 2011. I knew this collection would be perfect for World Showcase pictures!

I was a little disappointed with how small the letters are in the collection but it ended up working out since I didn’t have a lot of room left and fussing with my papers!  I really LOVE the package of die cut cardstock pieces and transparencies that coordinates with the papers. I finished off the transparencies with rhinestones and added photo corners to my picture.

Thanks for visiting!

Flik {a Disney layout}

I should be in bed now but I’m still watching the Red Sox/Yankees game…what a long night!  Hoping we can somehow pull off a win but it’s a stretch right now LOL

I snuck into my craft room for a half hour to make this page.  Ashley is the hostess in our yahoo group for the monthly sketch challenge.  She posted an awesome sketch for this month that was perfect for this picture of Flik that’s been sitting on my desk for almost 3 months. I wasn’t sure what to do with it. I did discover that I have a Pixar Cricut cartridge but honestly haven’t been in the mood to attempt cutting & piecing so I went simple and added a small touch of Disney with buttons 🙂

I really wanted the blues/purples of Flik to stand out so I went into the paper closet and found some ancient patterned papers that worked well (at least I think so!)  I realized after I was done, the paper on the blue cardstock could have been placed a little straighter…I need to clean my desk so I have a flat surface to work on!

1.5 more innings to go and I can go to sleep…or maybe just call it a night at this point!
