Christmas in July – Day 17

Good morning!

This is the 2nd card I finished yesterday. Had to wait for it to dry so I can share it!

I used the Dots & Stripes challenge at Christmas Cards All Year Round to start my card and I chose a stamp from Newton’s Holiday Mischief by Newton’s Nook.

2015 Card 73 - Newton's Nook Holiday Mischief

All the layers were cut from MFT Blueprints #1 and Newton was colored with copics. I added Candy Cane stickles to the bow and all the berries.  Simple but cute and flat for mailing!

Here is a sneak peek of Day 18’s card, it got too late to finish it last night.

Christmas in July 2015 – Day 8

I am starting to play catch up on my Christmas cards. I am determined to still get 31 done still even if they aren’t on the “right” days.

Today’s card is for the Furry Friends challenge at Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge. I’ve had this stuff sitting out on my desk since I saw the challenge last Wednesday. It ends tomorrow morning, so you can still enter too!

2015 Card 64 - Newtons Nook Canine Christmas

The adorable pup is from Newton’s Nook Canine Christmas stamp set. The paper is from Authentique Believe and I used MFT Blueprints 3 to cut all of the layers.  I love the pierced details in the bow and circle.

Day 9’s stamp & paper are waiting on my desk, hope to have another card to share tomorrow night!

Beautiful Blizzard Birthday Card

Good morning!

Today I am sharing the birthday card I made for my Mom at the beginning of the month. Seems like an eternity ago!

I used the sketch at Freshly Made Sketches as a jumping point when making the card. I had the hardest time trying to take a decent picture of it. Even with a new camera lol!

Here is one view showing all of the sparkle~

and another view showing the pretty embossing powder I used ~ Stampendous Frantage gold flecked stuff that I picked up at Joann’s awhile back.

The gorgeous snowflake stamp is from Newton’s Nook’s Beautiful Blizzard stamp set which I won last month. My Mom loves snow so I had to use it for her card 🙂  The sentiment is gold embossed and it’s from Newton’s Birthday Bash stamp set.
