I’ve been inspired by Melissa at Melissa’s Eclectic Bookshelf to share what is on and has been added to my shelves this week. I took a picture of some of my shelves so I could have a nifty little graphic to post. I miss sharing what I’m reading! Not sure I will do this every week but will try my best (as long as I finish books LOL!)
What I Read Last Week~
- Spring Fever by Mary Kay Andrews – Interesting story about a prominent small town family and their family business. It was slow in some spots but overall I enjoyed the storyline and the ending.
- Hot Pursuits by Stuart Woods (Stone Barrington #33) – I usually devour these books. This was wasn’t as action packed at first but it definitely picked up towards the middle of the book. I loved having the book feature Holly Barker more and her storyline. Each small storyline tied together to finish the book nicely.
What I Am Reading Today~
- Murder in the Mystery Suite by Ellery Adams (Book Retreat Mystery #1)
- The Lemon Orchard by Luanne Rice
- Book Clubbed by Lorna Barrett (Booktown Mystery #8)
Added to the {Virtual} Bookshelf This Week~
I have been trying hard to cut back on book buying but I found lots of cheap books this week that sounded good so they made their way to my Kindle!
- Goodbye To All That by Judith Arnold
- Stolen by Susan Lewis
- A Cereal Killer by Morgana Best (A Sibyl Potts Cozy Mystery #1)
- Killer Kung Pao by Patrice Lyle (Health Nuts Mystery #1)
- Save the Date by Mary Kay Andrews
- Heartbreak Hotel by Deborah Moggach

Good luck with your reading. I’m reading a series now, fast and easy read but really enjoying all the characters in it

I am tryung my first Carla Stewart book Broken Wings – Intriguing and well written to date, and although a bit slow moving in parts, it is following three interwoven story-lines very well.

We just joined the Blooming Flowers Blog Hop together. As one of the requirements is that we follow each others blogs (at least I think that’s what I read), I came here thinking I’d see only cards. Imagine my delight when I, an avid reader, found the reading challenge you entered.
Thanks to you I signed myself up for the challenge and think this will be a lot of fun. Even though I’m sort of late to the party, I’ve read enough that I think I can complete the challenge. I’m a mystery/suspense/thriller reader so I thought I might have a problem coming up with titles in that genre for every letter of the alphabet, but it was pretty easy.
Through the Alphabet Soup Challenge I was directed to Goodreads and when I input the books I’ve read, it provided me with recommendations based on my preferences…through that I was introduced to new authors I’ve never read before. Exciting! And it’s all because of you.
Right now I’m reading The Lost Island by Preston & Child. It’s part of the Gideon Crew series but can also be read as a stand alone book.
