Hedgehog Valentine

I have been a busy bee today in my craft room creating Valentines for my niece and nephews. Tonight I am sharing the card I made for my nephew Jaxon, it’s his first Valentine’s Day!

The hedgehog is from Penny Black and I used Doodlebug papers, which are always great for kid cards. I kept the card simple and embellishment free due to many tiny hands in their house.

The layout is from the current sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches, which ends in less than two hours. Cutting it a bit close here lol!

I am also entering this card into the Love, Hearts and Flowers challenge at Penny Black at Allsorts and Love You So Much challenge at Cards in Envy.

I’ll share another card tomorrow. Have a great night!

Project 6/365

Supplies ~

Stamps: Penny Black Furry Hugs, Hero Arts Celebrate Everyday

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

CS: Copic Xpress It, MFT Berrylicious

PP: Doodlebug Design Cream & Sugar

Other: MFT Oval Stax, Stitched Scalloped Basic Edges

Doggie in the Window

Tonight I created this card for a window swap. I used the same products as my last card plus a window die, tree dies and added a cute doggie!

This card was a lot of fun to build. I used patterned paper from 4 different MFT paper packs, and who wouldn’t want a little bling on their window sill! I left the card sentiment free so the recipient can choose one best to fit their needs.

Thanks for stopping by.

Project 4/365

Supplies ~ all MFT unless otherwise noted

Stamps: Sweet Forest Friends, Four Legged Friends

Ink: Memento Tuxedo Black

CS: Latte, Sweet Tooth, Copic Xpress It

PP: Dots & Stripes Bright, Dots & Stripes Neutral, Gray & White Basics, Proper Pinstripes Pastel

Other: Classic Window die, Trees in the Forest die, Sweet Forest Friends dies, Four Legged Friends die, SU rhinestones

Sweet Forest Friends Hello

Tonight I created this card for the MFT sketch challenge. I pulled all the supplies out before dinner and was able to put this card together in 30 minutes after dinner. I am so pleased with how my coloring turned out since I haven’t touched my copics in a long time.

I even took the time to decorate the inside. I wanted to use more of the cute stamps from the Sweet Forest Friends set.

Here is the sketch~

Thanks for stopping by!

Project 3/365

Stacking the Shelves 1/14/18

Good morning!

I am hoping to once again share more than crafts on this blog. I made blogs for different interests a few years ago but found them to difficult to maintain. So here I am again with book posts! {Crafty friends, feel free to skip them!}

This is a fun linkup I found a month or two ago and decided to participate this week!

Pre-Orders that went live this week ~ I am trying to branch out from my cozy mystery reading habit and found a lot of new to me authors through various blogs recently.

A book group will be reading this in the next few months so I grabbed it. I may regret it as it’s a bit of a thriller and I don’t like scary stories lol.
