Last Christmas in July card

Well this month didn’t pan out quite like I hoped. I had a great first week of the month with my staycation and then I spent 3 weeks battling allergies and bronchitis. Still dealing with allergies a bit, hoping some new medicine clears things up this time!

I’ve mentioned before that one of my card groups does a brand swap each month and July’s brand is Impression Obsession. I made a Christmas card using an old set called Winter Cardinals. I’m entering in the current Christmas in July challenge on the Impression Obsession blog.

I did a little masking with the birdhouse and bird. Then I decided to add a second bird on top of the branch. All the images were colored with copics. I couldn’t fit a sentiment on the front, so I aded it on the inside. It is Impression Obsession die 439-J Merry Christmas.

Have a great day!

Christmas in July 2017 #8

This is the last of my staycation cards to share. I need to make some time to craft soon!

I used more products that I purchased from last year’s SU Holiday catalog. The Christmas Pines set is so pretty! I paired it up with paper from Presents & Pinecone dsp pack.

Gotta get back to watching the MLB All-Star Game! One of my favorite things about baseball season!

Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Emerald Envy, Garden Green, Crumb Cake, Early Espresso

Christmas in July 2017 #7

Hello!

Tonight I am sharing card 7 for Christmas in July! This one is for the sketch challenge at 52 Christmas Card Throwdown.

Last year I *may* have overdone it a bit purchasing Christmas stamps from the Stampin’ Up! Holiday catalog…and then I didn’t even use them! So I am trying to make up for that now. I used the Seasonal Bells stamp set, coordinating bell punch and Presents & Pinecones paper (also from last year). The sentiment was cut out with a banner from the Bunch of Banners framelits set.

Here is the sketch~

Have a great night!

ABC Series 2017: A is for… #2

A is for Aviator!

Many years ago, MFT used to release the PI stamps as a VIP package early with a bonus mini sentiment set. I have had this adorable girl for over 5 years.  I finally inked her up for the first time today.

My girl was stamped with Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then she was cut out with my Scan N Cut. I was so impressed with how well it cut out! I then colored her with copics. I used a couple dies from MFT Blueprints 3 to build my card and I added a few clouds from the MFT Puffy Clouds die set.

Have a great night!!
