Just barely squeaking in this layout for National Scrapbook Day!! My day didn’t go as planned, however I did get tons of pictures printed and made this 2 page layout for a challenge at Disney Scrappers. It is a color challenge to use red, orange, dark yellow, green and gray. The inspiration picture was the Lion King so I scrapped these pictures from the Festival of the Lion King show that I saw with my Mom at Animal Kingdom last December.
The diamond design on the left page and the background piece on the right page were African inspired cuts I bought from the Silhouette Online Store. The font is also from Silhouette. It took me forever to cut everything and glue it together lol. It was good though to use my machine, it’s been ages since I turned it on! I used a border stamp from Sugar Pea Designs on the title piece.
I am hoping to get much more done tomorrow! Thanks for stopping by!

Wonderful layout! Your photos area awesome! I love that the cuts you chose coordinate so well with the Lion King theme. I’m glad you got to play with your Silhouette a little. You had so many fabulous, intricate cuts – they really added so much to your page! TFS!
