Avant Garden #4

Hello!

Tonight I am sharing card #4 in my Avant Garden series. I loved random stamping the background panel on this one.

Lots of layers and dimension on this card! I used 4 stamps from the set. The sentiment was stamped on the Decorative Label punch so it would stand out a bit from the busy background.

Have a great night!

Supplies ~ all from Stampin’ Up!

Ink: Sahara Sand, Blushing Bride, Sweet Sugarplum, Island Indigo, Mint Macaron, Memento Tuxedo Black

CS: Island Indigo, Rich Razzleberry, Blushing Bride, Mint Macaron, Whisper White

Avant Garden #3

Whoops, I forgot to come back and post the next card in my Avant Garden series yesterday!

Here it is!

This one I stamped the image in Memento Tuxedo Black and then watercolored it with SU inks using a blender pen. Added some DSP, ribbon and rhinestones to finish it off!

Avant Garden #2

Hi!

So at the beginning of the month, I had a goal of using recently retired and retiring Stampin Up items to make a dent in my stash. I made one card and posted it May 1st. Tonight I finally got back to the pile of cardstock and patterned paper that I cut up. I stamped enough focal points for 4 cards!

Here is the first card that I finished~

I stamped the flowers with Rich Razzleberry, Sweet Sugarplum and Mint Macaron inks. My color palette comes from the Blooms & Bliss DSP that I used on the card. This one will be a little bulky to mail but I really wanted to use the ribbons I bought to go with the paper.

I’ll share the next card tomorrow!

Carousel Card & Treat Bag!

Good morning!

Today I am sharing the card and treat bag I made for my mom! She loves carousels so as soon as I saw the Carousel Birthday set in the Stampin’ Up! Occasions catalog, I had to get it. I stamped several horses and then colored them in with the blendabilities that SU carried a few years ago.  Then I used my Scan N Cut to cut them out, they cut out so nicely.

First I made the treat bag using the coordinating Cupcakes & Carousels designer series paper. I added one of the horses on a doily, then added the for you which is a coordinating die cut from the treat bag set.

Here is a close up of the card which uses more of the dsp – isn’t the carousel horse paper so pretty? I love it.  I added another horse on a doily and added the sentiment from Teeny Tiny Wishes.

Have a great day!
