I made this card and gift card holder on Friday night and totally forgot about posting them.
My mom had to work on Mother’s Day so we celebrated this past Saturday with breakfast and a day of shopping.
The little pocket was made using the Mini Treat Bag thinlits die from Stampin Up using Authentique Delightful papers. I added a few elements from MFT Blueprints 1 which I also used on the card.
I found this Stamping Bella image when I was cleaning in my room. It was stamped years and years ago, not sure what her name is anymore. I colored her with my Lyra Polycolor pencils since it wasn’t Copic friendly paper.
Thanks for stopping by!
Hello and Happy Mother’s Day to all the Moms out there!
I had a great weekend with my Mom, she had the weekend off for the first time in months. Yesterday we spent the day shopping and today we went to breakfast, saw my sister & her family and then one of my stepsisters and her family. We had beautiful weather to enjoy a BBQ, didn’t think that would ever happen after our looooooong winter LOL!
This is the card I made my Mom and it’s for the Viva La Verve Week #2 sketch (sketch shown below with supply list). I was inspired by one of the DT members cards to ink up Button Best for the first time 🙂
I used some older MME Tangerine papers that were in a card kit that’s been collecting dust for years lol. The flowers were stamped, colored with copics and then fussy cut. The leaves are also from Verve, Sprightly Sprigs die set.
Next up I have my mother-in-law’s card and I used the FTL11 – Take Two sketch from Clean & Simple Stamping. I used Winnie & Walter’s The Big, The Bold and The Happy to build the sentiment. The papers and embellishments are all from an old card kit.
I hope everyone had a nice day! It’s time for us to relax after being on the go all weekend!

Long time no blog…sorry about that! I guess I just needed to step away for a bit. I took a few weeks off from crafting before finally getting back into it last weekend and this weekend.
I hung out with friends yesterday for a crafty day and this is one of 6 cards I made 🙂
I used my friend Jenee’s great sketch at Tuesday Morning Sketches for these beautiful butterflies. The sketch shows circles and a square but all I could envision was butterflies of various sizes. Spring is on the brain here! I popped a few up for some dimension.
Here is a detail shot, I popped up the green one and then double popped the yellow one on top.
This is the sketch I used~

I’ll be back in a few hours with another card!
Hello and Happy Monday!
Tonight I’m sharing the Mother’s Day card I made for my mother-in-law. I had fun stamping this one using a color palette I came up with of Perfect Plum, Strawberry Slush, Daffodil Delight & Lucky Limeade (retired).
I used the Simple Stems stamp set along with the Secret Garden framelits to cut the biggest flower out. I popped it up for dimension and then added some of the basic pearls to the center. The sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set.
I’d like to enter my card into the following challenges:
